Movies and such

Last week we watched Meet the Fockers. And it was pretty funny and cute. So if you need a laugh, I highly recommend it.The last film we saw in the theaters, was Star Wars Episode 3. It was rather good. But in my opinion, I don't think any new Star Wars movie can compare to the original trilogy. 2 movies Mom and I recently enjoyed are Being Julia and Finding Neverland.I think both are out on video now and are really good and well done.Yesterdays doctors appt was fine. Everything seems to be right on schedule. Except for the doctor. She was running behind schedule and I was finally seen about an hour and a half late. She wasn't even on call doing deliveries. Oh well. It wouldn't have bothered me so much, but Syd had trouble waiting so long.I hope to have pictures up on here soon.Still trying to get things figured out.Anyway, I hope to write again soon.

21 weeks and counting

Well, only 19 more weeks until Shrimp arrives.Yes, I am counting every week.Just a little excited are we?I am looking forward to my doctor's appt this afternoon. I love hearing the baby's heartbeat. As for Shrimp's cousin Mhari, she should be making her debut any day now.Hang in there Robin and Ken it's so worth the wait. And false alarms.I only had one with Sydney.:-)We have had a pretty good week. We all (except Jason, he had to work;-() went over to Sprague for Hugh's 80th birthday party.(He is my step Uncle.)And then spent the rest of the weekend relaxing at my Grandpa Bob's in lovely and hot Desert Aire.I am taking Jason and Sydney back over there for Jason's birthday weekend on the 23rd.It's going to be fun, fun, fun!I am also excited to be turning 25 on this Sunday. Yeah!!!!!!!!!That's it for now. Much love to all,

Half way there

Well, we are just starting the second half the pregnancy. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Had the ultrasound yesterday. Unfortunately Shrimp had it's back and side to us. So we still don't know it's gender yet. I go back on July 7th for my 3rd ultrasound. The doctor needs to get a good look at the baby's chest to see how it is developing. She wants to see the heart the most. Although we can hear a good heartbeat, so their not to worried.I got some great looks at a neat looking spine and hands. It was fun to see the baby's feet moving around. She gave me a picture with the baby waving at us. We know it has all it's fingers. I feel kinda lucky to get another glimpse in 2 weeks and we hope it will have turned around so we can get a look at the front of it. I was concerned about the baby's size because, I have been losing weight not gaining it.Although I am growing outwards. But it appears the baby is taking my extra weight and converting it to what is needed.Plus we have been working on what we eat around here.Shrimp appears just fine. So that's the news for now.

New project

Yesterday was my last day of work at Fred Meyer.Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So one of my new projects is going to be selling Melaleca products. I think it's going to be mostly done via the internet which is nice. So we will see how it goes. We have been using alot of their products the last 2 months and been quite happy with them. I will be starting some training in the coming weeks. I have posted their link so you can check them out. They are called The Wellness Company. And have been around for 25 years. From what I understand the products are about being better for you and the enviroment while being more cost effective. So please take a look at what they have to offer and let me know if you are interested. Shrimp seems to be doing well.Offically 19 weeks along and moving frequently. I swear this kid is going to come out fencing.Syd is getting more interesting every day.Still working on the bed thing and getting her off bottles. But pretty good overall. Talking more and moving faster every day. Only one week until the big ultrasound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With love, the family

Names

I regularly get asked if we have thought of names for Shrimp. Well of course we have. If it is a girl it would be Megan Ann Rivers. For a boy we have chosen Simon Robert Rivers. Now new ideas are always coming in. So don't be surprised if the baby has a name totally different come delivery day. But these are our current picks. We welcome any ideas or comments on names for the wee one. So feel free to drop a comment or two. Hope you all are well.

18 weeks

I am now offically 18 weeks pregnant. Very exciting. We will have a ticker up here once we get it fiqured out. As well of pictures of course. We are all doing pretty well. Can't wait to see how Shrimp is coming along in 2 weeks. And saturday is my last day of work at Fred Meyer. It is going to be strange not having a paying job.Sydney got her first set of sheets yesterday, Care Bears of course. She is doing well in her bed for naps, But is still getting used to sleeping in it all night long. We are proud of her though. In about 22 weeks , sleeping with Mommy and Daddy isn't going to be an option for her.Since Shrimp will be with us going back an forth from bed to co- sleeper.I guess that's it for now. Hope everyone is well.

The Next Step

Sydney is growing up so much every day.Her latest adventure is a new bed. She is learning to sleep in a twin bed now, instead of her crib. Which of course well get used again in the not to distant future. We will be setting up the much used Co-Sleeper for Shrimp's first few months of life though.I guess that's it for now.
