Sunday we are having breakfast with the Rhiversons. We are excited to meet our new niece in person. As well as show off the new digs. Had a check-up yesterday. All seemed well with Meghan. Offically 45 days left until the duedate. But I wouldn't mind if she was a week or 2 early. Only 3 and a half weeks left until she can be born full-term. Just heard that my cousin Jackie got engaged. So Congrats go out it her and David. As well as Congrats to Robin and Ken on anniversary #2.Bye for now.

As well as the dress sent to her from Grandma Sue. My appointment is this afternoon. So we shall see how it goes. I am a little anxious and nervous. Since it is a new clinic and all. I can't wait to hear how Meghan is doing. I will post more later.Bye all.

Syd's blankets are her favorite thing. She lovingly calls them "feefees".So here is a great picture of her happiness. A new feefee, a cup of juice and some Blue's Clue's on the t.v.And life is all good. We are under the 2 month mark on the Meghan countdown. YEAH!I get more excited every day.

Relief and Happy Birthday Papa

Wednesday Syd and I went to the playground. She seemed to have more fun with the gravel then the toys. Big suprise huh?Well, today I actually found a clinic that will take me(state run of course) with our insurance still pending. So next wednesday we are off to see Dr. Liem. I don't know if it's a male or female doc. But at this point I don't care. I am starting to get a bit anxious, because I am 2 weeks overdue for a prenatal check-up.But at least I have been pregnant before, and know what I should or shouldn't be feeling. So far things seem okay.At least I haven't had any problems with this pregnancy to worry about. So I am looking forward to wednesday. Jason has been working like crazy. Only 1 day off last week. And none this week.He is suppose to have next thursday off,but we will believe it when it actually happens. Poor guy has been struggling with his bread making a bit more than he and his bosses expected I think.I still can't believe Syd will be 2 in a month. We drove around the city last night.Saw more of the area than we had. It was fun. I am looking forward to checking out downtown, as well as Portland.I am used to Monroe,a nice size of 15,000 people. Vancouver is 140,000. So it is still a big adjustment. So far I like it though. We continue to find new places to eat. Last night I wouldn't settle for anything less than some teriyaki. Ah pregnancy cravings.;-)And we found a great little place near here. It was yummy and not very pricey. So that made our day. Plus I love supporting small Mom and Pop operations. This place was rather busy as well. So that was nice. I guess that's it. Still working on the bedrooms. It's hard for me to do much when Jason isn't here, beacause our girl loves getting into everything she shouldn't be in. And since this is a apartment they won't let us use the normal screw in childlocks, so we are modifing them with 3M adhesive. But it takes a bit more effort to do.As well as energy, which I don't much of these days. Hope everyone who reads this is doing well. And Happy Birthday PAPA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can still remember being pregnant with her.Although it wouldn't be a bad thing if she waited to make her debut until after Syd's birthday.Things are getting better around here. We even have pictures on the walls. A major accomplishment. The tough thing is my lack of energy. But Jason seems to understand. And isn't giving me a hard time about my daily naps or being the last one up in the morning. Well laundry is calling my name. Peace be with all of you. Jess

It's Jason's only day off this week. It's hard try to get things done around the house as well as takeing care of Syd. She is all over these days. And loves to get in trouble.I will be 32 weeks on Sunday. Which I think is the 8 month mark.I was suppose to go see the doc this week. But ended up here in Vancouver instead. I hope to get the insurance stuff straigten out this coming week and can get into see and find an ob/gyn.I can still feel her moving and all that so we are not to worried yet.I can always go to the ER if the need arose. I just but Syd to bed. So It's time for some me time now. Jason and I found a movie to watch On Demand. Love that. No more going to Blockbuster. Sweet. Alright. Good Night all.

The sheep scared me!

She is even cute when she cries.A sheep got a little to close to her when we were at the Fair. She only cried for a minute though. And then was back to her usual happy self. The packing continues. I am anxious for Friday to come, so we can get some of the stuff loaded into it. And out of the way.It is a maze of boxes around here.;-)It's getting quite crowded.

Fair fun

She was asleep before we even left.It sure was alot of walking for me at 7 1/2 months pregnant. Good for me though. The weather cooperated nicely. Just as I went to lay down for my nap after we got home, a serious rainstorm hit. Complete with thunder even. Nothing like what those poor people in the Gulf are facing. At least Hurrican Katrina didn't end being quite as strong as predicted.Bye for now.

Meghan Update

We had another Dr's Appt this morning. And things couldn't be better. Her heart sounded great at about 145-150 beats a minute. The size is great , with my uterus at about 29 inches long. My weight is fine. Just 1 pound over what I was when I first got pregnant. As well as okay blood work. No gestional diabetes to worry about. So we go back in 3 weeks, then 2 visits 2 weeks apart, then going every week after that. So all is good with her and me.

It was very cute and this doesn't do it justice. But the best shot I got. It reached 96 degrees here today. Way to hot for most of us, but Syd she doesn't seem to mind and loves running around in just a diaper. Meghan and I have reached another milestone. The 3rd and last trimester. Only 11 more weeks and we will get to see our precious, little Meghan. I am anxious to see how Sydney reacts to her little sister. I saw another new baby at church today, little Ethan only 2 weeks old. And it gets me very excited to know that I won't have to wait too much longer. Less than 3 months at least. We have another doctor visit and I am excited to see how things are going. Due to Jason's recent job change( no job yet, but some promising prospects) he gets to go with me tomorrow. So he can here the heartbeat for the first time. It always chokes me up.;-)I hope to have a picture of my ever growing babyness on here soon. Once I can get Jason to take it. As you may have noticed I do most of the picture taking, since I am not in any of the photos. Thanks again to Robin,Ken and Grandma and Grandpa Rivers for the digital camera. It gets a lot of use. That of course will only increase once Meghan arrives. She is very active now. Kicking a lot. A sort of "Mommy I am still here thing". Already keeping me up at night. As if I need to be reminded of how our lives will change yet again. I will write after our visit tomorrow, to give a Meghan update. Love to all of you, Jess,Jason,Sydney and Meghan.

And the swimsuit her Grandpa and Grandma Rivers neighbors gave her still fits. It worked great. Especially in the pool there. Can you tell I am having fun with posting pictures now?

Slide Action

Sydney's favorite thing to do at the park is the slide. Forget the toddler swings. Slides are where it's at. Unless there is a sandbox around. We are hoping to get one of those covered plastic ones soon for her. I think it would be a bit cleaner then the dirt and rocks , she plays with now. As well as more fun of course.

Sara and I have been best buds since 6th grade and now we are both married and have little girls.Wow. It still seems so amazing some times. I love being a Mom. Even though it is really hard work.

Another Blood Draw & Anniversary #3

Well, Today along with Meghan of course I went in for another blood test. This makes I think number 6 for this pregnancy. Needless to say it's getting a bit old. This test was for gestional diabetes. Which is a necessary test performed on all pregnancies between 25 and 28 weeks.I didn't have it with Sydney and I hope not to with Meghan either.Meghan and I are half way through week 26 now.2 more weeks and we will be in the home stretch also known as the 3rd trimester. It has been a hot few weeks here. Alot of days in the mid eighties. With the temp suppose to be reaching 90 tomorrow. Sydney has discovered climbing and is climbing everything she can.Today is also the 3rd anniversary of our marriage. It's hard to believe .Time has gone by so fast.
