Too Hot!

I guess you would call it a heat wave. Yesterday a toasty 92 degrees here. And in western Washington that's a little hotter then we are used too. So needless to say I didn't get the dishes or laundry done . It was just too darn hot. At least too much for this pregnant lady. Sydney gets to run around just wearing her pull-ups so she thinks it's neat. Oh how nice it would be to have air conditioning. We'll see how hot it gets today.

Our niece has made her debut

Baby Mhari made her debut this morning. She is 7lbs 3oz and 19 inches long. Mhari was a week and a day overdue, just like her cousin Sydney. I am hoping Meghan won't follow in their footsteps. Speaking of Meghan we are on week 25 now. I had my check up this morning and so far everything is good. Now we will be going every 3 weeks instead of 4. So we are getting closer to her arrival everyday. We had a great weekend in Desert Aire. The weather was great, sunny and in the mid 90's. I did get a bit of a sunburn though. Sydney even had her first experience in a river. The mighty Columbia River felt great to this pregnant lady. And then we went to the pool for some more water fun. Hope all is well. And welcome to the family Mhari!

Another week closer

Meghan and I have made it to week 24 now. Only 15 more weeks to go. Our niece Mhari hasn't made her debut yet. Should be anytime now. Sydney has discovered how much she loves water. She loves having her little pool in the backyard. Sunday was a busy day for us. We had church in the morning and then had to rush home to get things set up for my Mom's 50th Birthday BBQ. It was great fun with lots of family and neighborhood friends. The weather cooperated nicely with sun and a temp of about 80 degrees. Yesterday was a bit warm for my taste with the temp at a toasty 95 degrees.Jason is busy working up to 60 hours a week currently. Not to much else going on. We are anxiously waiting for this weekend, since we will be having some birthday fun at Grandpa's in Desert Aire on the majestic Columbia River. Hope all is well.

Week 23

Meghan and I are enjoying week 23 now.Only 16 more to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Poor Jason is a little bummed because he of course was wishing for a boy.I promised I wouldn't rule out having a third child. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. It was cute though, yesterday at church he kept rubbing Meghan and telling everyone he could about her. Now that we know her gender. Syd did something funny on Saturday. I had a few inches of water in the tub to bathe our 2 dogs and 2 cats.I went to get Bailey our 3 legged cat and came back to the bathroom and Syd was sitting in the tub clothes and all. It was cute. She just loves water. I am still figuring out how to get the pictures from the Flickr to the blog. So I will eventually get it posted because it's so cute. Although I had just gotten her dressed and she had to be changed again. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Waiting

We hope everyone had a nice 4th. We did a few hard hours of yardwork in the morning and then had Grandma Bev over for a yummy BBQ in the evening. And watched the neighborhood fireworks in the darkness. I had a very nice birthday on Sunday. We went to church, then out to our new Red Robin for lunch, and Brian and Natalie gave me a surprise birthday party that afternoon. It was a day full of lots of good food, friends and fun. When we got home at 10pm that night, I was one tired Momma to be. I swear the baby is getting bigger every day. I love all the kicks I get now, to let me know it's there. My neurologist has me on a new treatment for the migraines I have been suffering from. Friday is a trip to my neuropthamoglist for a check on the Pseudotumor. It has been a concern lately with all the headaches. Hopefully everything will be okay.I am very excited because tomorrow is my 3rd ultrasound. So hopefully we will be able to find out the gender. Much love to you all.And only 17 more weeks to go!
